DR. ROBIN FRIEDMAN
PRACTICE OWNER, VETERINARIAN
Dr. Friedman opened My Vet Animal Hospital in May of 2006 after 14 dedicated years as an associate at another practice in Chicago. Since opening, we have grown into a thriving practice and continue to grow our professional team and services.
Dr. Friedman graduated from The University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 and obtained her undergraduate degree from Boston College. Dr. Friedman is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners as well as a Fear Free Certified Professional. She was born in Tampa, Florida so she is definitely partial to the warmer weather months and enjoys being out in the sun or on the water with her family in Florida as much as possible.
She is raising her daughter, Cici, and her four legged family member, Evie! In her spare time you will find her enjoying long walks, running and the other love of her life – sushi!
ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
Dr. Jean Henry attended the University of Cincinnati for her undergraduate degree in biology. She then received her veterinary degree from Purdue University in 2018. She has a special interest in feline medicine, senior pets, and soft-tissue surgery.
Dr. Henry is from Cincinnati, Ohio. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time with her cats, Mira, Anna, Sebastian, and her dog Roxy.
DR. ANDREW LEE
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Andrew Lee is a graduate of University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana where he received his doctorate in veterinary medicine as well as receiving his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois-Chicago. As a Chicago area native, he is happy to be helping pets live their best lives in his hometown. Dr. Lee is passionate about forming life-long relationships with clients through education, compassion, trust, and works with owners to be active participants in the healthcare of their pets.
In his free time, Dr. Lee likes to spend time with friends and family, travel, exercise (but hates running), work with his hands, fancying a new whiskey, watches movies, loves to try new cuisine, and also appreciates a lazy Sunday afternoon. He lives with Scout (a sweet mixed breed dog), Sawyer (an energetic Schnauzer) and Lego (a mischievous siamese cat).
DR. ARACELY CORDES
RELIEF VETERINARIAN
Dr. Aracely Cordes has been providing relief services at My Vet Animal Hospital since 2017. Dr. Cordes grew up on the south side of Chicago. She went to Iowa State for undergrad and the University of Illinois in Urbana for veterinary school. She graduated in 2011 and has been practicing in Chicago since. She is grateful to animals for showing us unconditional love and enjoys helping pets and their humans. She is devoted to finding the root of any problem and healing wounds. Her main interests in vet med are client education, collaboration, surgery, pain management, dentistry, and fear-free medicine. She loves learning and growing but realized she learns exponentially from her own pets including Tom, her senior cat, and two late Goldens, Mac and Miller. Her own pets have taught her to have compassion not only for her patients but also for their worried parents.
On ‘days off’ she enjoys exploring the city with her two human children, Maddie and Mason, traveling, reading, writing, and anything outside when the sun is shining brightly.
MAGGIE REPEL

TREATMENT STAFF
Arlene
Arlene is our Treatment Manager and one of our dedicated Veterinary Tech/Nurses. Arlene began her journey in animal care in 2014 and quickly fell in love with helping animals. She is in the process of completing her CVT program. Through her studies, she is further developing a strong foundation in Veterinary Science, animal behavior, and medical procedures. She is constantly seeking new opportunities to gain hands-on experience and expand her understanding of animal care. She strives to bring a sense of focus, determination and problem-solving skills to everything she does.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her spending time with her two spirited Shiba Inus, Trucks and Kass. Together, with her husband, they love to embark on outdoor adventure across the states. Her other hobbies include: experimenting with new recipes, hosting a game night, and going out to watch the latest movie premier.

Deanna
Danielle
Danielle is a relatively new arrival to the team, and this is her first time working at a private practice after coming from a shelter medicine and rescue background. This background has provided lots of insight and understanding, while highlighting the dichotomy between homeless animals and pets who have a loving home and a family who wants to provide for them while keeping them happy and healthy. Danielle has 2 rescue cats named Sushi and Evee. When she's not at work, Danielle can usually be found listening to audiobooks, riding her bike, wandering in the woods or tending to her garden, working on her current project of covering her car in paintings of cats on vinyl or one of her other mixed media works.

Charlotte
I'm a SoCal native with a bustling household full of personality—four fabulous cats (Warehouse, Bucket, Francine, and Momo) and my cool Ball Python, Sen, who’s the real star of the show. When I’m not jamming on my guitar or losing myself in painting and illustrations, you’ll find me cross-stitching, diving into a good book, or nurturing my garden like it’s my own little paradise. My husband and I are concert junkies, always on the lookout for our next musical adventure. Life's a creative blast when you're surrounded by fur, scales, and a whole lot of art!
